2026年3月11日『包括的ウェルビーイングと子ども・女性のエンパワーメント』英文著作が刊行されました。
東北発の地域子ども学研究を契機に、フィンランドの子ども福祉、家族政策研究者との学際的研究が展開。
フィンランドと日本――二つの社会が交差するところに生まれる新たなウェルビーイングの可能性を探る、専門書です。日本からは震災後のケア、レジリエンス、子ども支援、地方女性のエンパワーメントの事例が盛り込まれています。
宮城学院女子大学に連なる研究者も執筆しています。

Mutsuko Tendo PhD & Riitta Vornanen PhD (Eds.)
Mutsuko TENDO is Professor Emeritus at Miyagi Gakuin Women’s University, Japan. She holds a PhD in Education from Waseda University. Her research interests include women’s studies and the sociology of education, with a particular focus on childcare, women’s empowerment, and disaster prevention. She is a member of the International Society for Gender Studies (Japan) and served as its President from 2013 to 2015.
Riitta VORNANEN is Professor of Social Work at the University of Eastern Finland. She holds a PhD. Her research interests include social work with children, young people, and families, with a particular focus on child welfare and interprofessional collaboration in child and family services. She has over 20 years of experience as a professor in specialization programs in Child, Youth, and Family Social Work for qualified social workers. Her recent work addresses child welfare, support needs of young people, and interprofessional practice.
